Agreement
By hiring Strangely Southern or using this website, you agree to the following terms. These terms apply to all web design, logo design, branding, and any other services provided by Strangely Southern, operated by Sara.
Services
Strangely Southern provides web design, site management, logo design, and brand identity services for small businesses and individuals. The scope of each project is agreed upon before work begins, either through email or a written proposal.
Payment
- A 50% deposit is required before any work begins
- The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before final files are delivered
- Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at time of booking
- Trades are accepted on a case-by-case basis and must be agreed upon in writing before work begins
Revisions
Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions as discussed at the start of the project. Revisions are changes to existing work — not new features or a complete redesign. Requests that fall outside the original scope may be quoted as additional work.
Turnaround Time
Estimated timelines will be provided at the start of each project. Timelines depend on the complexity of the project and timely feedback from the client. Delays caused by slow client response are not the responsibility of Strangely Southern.
Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate content, images, and information needed for your project
- Ensuring you have the rights to any content, logos, or images you provide
- Responding to questions or feedback requests in a timely manner
- Reviewing and approving final work before it goes live
Ownership & Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of final payment, you own the final deliverables for your project. Strangely Southern retains the right to display completed work in her portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
Strangely Southern retains ownership of all work until final payment is received in full.
Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. If a project is cancelled after work has started, you will be billed for the work completed up to that point. If Strangely Southern is unable to complete the project, a full refund will be issued.
Limitation of Liability
Strangely Southern is not liable for any damages, lost revenue, or business interruption arising from the use of a completed website or design. All websites are delivered in good faith and tested before delivery, but ongoing maintenance and security is the responsibility of the client unless a maintenance plan is in place.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States.
